Projects
Past Work
- Snexploration Squad and The Book of Megadrive-Two Podcasts in one! Retro game discussion that attempted to actually discuss stuff seriously. Our serious discussion often segued into weird comedy. It happens.
- Hinge Problems-This started as a video game podcast, and then I got invited on board when it became a lefty war movie podcast. And also that one time we rated every 32x game. Also features weird comedy.
- Ink Fox and Paper Tiger-Me and the lovely Jade critically discuss webcomics with an eye for artistry and historical context. The newest cast.
- Preserving Worlds: Secondlife-Strictly speaking, I was just the subject for this one. Derek Murphy & Mitchell Zemil's original documentary series, Preserving Worlds featured me as the pseudoanonymous 'Artemis' I explain some of my history with SL, and how digital scarcity economics and self expression intertwine.
- What's So Cool About Super Robots-This one time I did a tabletop RPG game jam and finished something. Truth be told, the only part of this I really feel completely proud of is the layout but it's been well recieved in one or two spots on the internet.
Current work:
First of all, this website! I want to have a dedicated gallery page, and some pages for weird HTML experiments. Oh and the blog should be live right now if everything is working properly!
I also want to try using this for a database of ideas I've been messing with for some tabletop campaign settings that I don't want to just keep hidden on my hardrive.
My mind is currently ossilating between:
- A diselpunk world set in the early stages of a cold war
- A war torn science fantasy universe that's my take on the default scifi war game setting diaspora
- Mecha RPG that I've been trying to figure out since literal highschool
- A zine on running RPGs that will start as some blog posts
- Maybe a video game??
And other stuff I'm not thinking about right now.
